Abstract

A user identification module (UIM)having a plurality of storage areas that may be built into or mounted in a mobile terminal. A contents server, upon receipt of a distribution request from the mobile terminal, may distribute a program or data used at the time of program execution through a network including a radio network. The program may be encrypted twice by the contents server. During distribution, the program may be decrypted a first time by a distribution management server. The program may be decrypted a second time by the UIM. The decrypted program and the data may be stored in one of a plurality of separate and independently operated memory blocks of the UIMand not through the control unit of the mobile terminal. The program may be enabled for execution by the UIMat the direction of the distribution management server
