Abstract
A cleansing tankand a screw conveyorare removably mounted to a mounting openingof a filtration tank. When the cleansing tankand the screw conveyorare to be removed, they can be extracted to the exterior of the filtration tank, by detaching a base, which axially supports the screw conveyor, from a rim. Purified water is backwashed through a purified water discharge pipewhen the cleansing tankand the screw conveyorare extracted and inserted through the mounting opening. This causes filtration mediato float, thereby reducing the resistance thereof.
