Abstract
A lockable differential gear having an integral differential gear housing (). The differential gear housing () has a plurality of apertures () located opposite one another. A number of the internal parts of the differential gear are mounted, during installation, within the differential gear housing () by passing through one of the plurality of apertures () during the assembly process. The plurality of apertures () generally remain open following the assembly process.
