Abstract
An electrical connector () adapted to be detachably fitted with a sheet-like member includes a housing () defining a longitudinal direction (A) and a cavity () having a front opening for receiving the sheet-like member; terminals () arranged in the housing along the longitudinal direction and each having a contact portion () protruding into the cavity; pivot beams () loaded in the housing and separately set from the terminals; and an actuator () pivotally engaging with the pivot beams and rotatable between an open position and a closed position.
