Abstract
A driver unitfor striking out a staple, and a clincher unitfor clinching of legs of a staple are separated vertically from each other. The driver unitand the clincher unit, respectively, are provided with drive motors M, M. Encodersare formed on respective drive shafts, which drive the driver unitand the clincher unit, to generate pulse signals P, Pupon rotation of the respective drive shafts. A control deviceinputs thereinto the pulse signals P, Pto count the same, and the respective drive motors M, Mare controlled by the control deviceon the basis of count values.
