Abstract

A braking band () of a disc-brake disc (), which has an unusual ability to improve the cooling efficiency of the disc brake, comprises a first plate () and a second plate () arranged face to face so as to form a space (). A set of spacer elements (-) which connect the first plate () and the second plate. () constitutes a module which is repeated around a circle coaxial with the braking band. The set comprises a first fin () which connects the first plate () to the second plate () and which extends along an arcuate line (). The set of spacer elements further comprises a second fin (), a third fin (), and a fourth fin () which connect the first plate () to the second plate () and which extend along a further arcuate line () interposed between two adjacent arcuate lines ().
