Abstract
The rock drilling rig comprises a first control unit () arranged on a carrier () and a second control unit () arranged to a rock drilling apparatus (). The first control unit () and the second control unit () communicate with each other by means of a first data communications link (). The rock drilling apparatus () has one or more sensors (), the measuring results of which are processed in the second control unit () and only then transmitted to the first control unit () that controls actuators regulating the operation of the rock drilling apparatus ().
