Abstract
The invention relates to a device comprising a disk drivefor rotating a disk memory and at least one interface enabling a data flow between a rotating disk memory and at least one other module. In order to enable a comfortable use of such a device, it is proposed that the device further comprises meansfor setting the rotation speed of the disk drivebased on an indication of the data rate supported by an interface of the device, which interface is currently to be employed for enabling a data flow between the rotating disk memory and at least one other module.
