Abstract

A video wall () is formed of several adjacent displays (-). The display surfaces of the adjacent displays form a continuous or quasi-continuous display surface for the video wall. The wall has an input adapted for receiving images from multiplexed sources. The images from the multiplexed sources are demultiplexed in a demultiplexer (). The demultiplexer provides images from the demultiplexed sources to processors (-) for display on the adjacent displays. Using multiplexed sources makes it possible to reduce the number of cables at the input to the wall or to increase the number of images that may simultaneously be displayed on the wall.
