Abstract
The invention relates to a power supply independent device () producing a hot air flow (). Heat () is produced by a catalytic heating element () which is energized by a liquid fuel, the hot air flow () being produced by an electric fan (). The inventive device () is provided with a fuel cell () which supplies electric power to the fan (). Said device comprises a tank () for the liquid fuel connected with the aid of a valve () to the fuel cell () and the heating element () in such a way that they are jointly supplied with the liquid fuel ().
