Abstract
A multiplexerconducts time division multiplexing on various data trains input from a digital broadcast reception tunerand various interfacesandwhile adding packet arrival time correction information. A demultiplexerdemultiplexes time division multiplexed data multiplexed by the multiplexercorrects packet arrival time on the basis of the packet arrival time correction information. A PCR correction sectioncorrects a system clock on the basis of the packet arrival time correction information added by the multiplexerAs a result, it becomes possible to transfer an MPEG2 stream and other data in concurrent while maintaining program synchronization.
