Abstract

An assembly (M) of a detection unit () for placement inside a tire with a rim having a connection aperture () is provided. The assembly (M) can include a detection unit () for receiving detection components, a valve body (), a seal () for providing a seal between the valve body () and the rim (), and fastener () for holding the valve body () in position on the rim (). One or more of the detection unit (), the valve body (), the fastener () for holding the valve body (), or a combination thereof, is preformed to penetrate the connection aperture () so as to engage the connection aperture () when the assembly (M) is subjected to tangential stresses.
