Abstract
The invention provides isolated gamma coixin promoters useful for the expression of heterologous coding sequences in transgenic plants. Further provided by the invention are transgenic plants comprising such promoters, expression constructs for the introduction of heterologous coding sequences into plants, and methods of using the plants and nucleic acids provided by the invention.
