Abstract

Intraocular lenses or contact lensesare placed on a lower spindleand held there by a vacuum in conduit. Noble and reactive gasesare introduced and a voltage is applied across upper spindleand lower spindleto plasma treat one surface of the lens. The lens is transferred to the other spindle and the process is repeated.
