Perfluoropolyethers obtained by oxidation of perfluorodioxoles of formula (I) wherein R=—F, —(O)CFwith y=0, 1 and n=1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and with W=—F, —CF,optionally in the presence of tetrafluoroethylene and/or hexafluoropropene, and subsequent reduction of the obtained peroxidic perfluoropolyethers.
