Abstract
The disclosure is directed to systems and methods for conditioning water in an environment for holding aquatic life. The systems include various chambers for processing water, such as a chamber containing a media capable of supporting aerobic bacteria; a chamber containing a media comprising sulfur which is capable of supportingbacteria; a chamber containing one or more calcium sources; and chambers containing media for reducing contaminants.
