The present invention relates to an electrical machine, in particular an electric motor, with a housingand coversthat close the housingand contain bearingsthat rotatably support a rotor. According to the present invention, spring elementsare provided that act upon at least one bearing shelleach of bearingswith a compression force acting in the axial direction, whereby the mounting of the bearing shellthat is acted upon by one of the spring elementsis configured as a sliding fit.
