Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing electrolyte solutions consisting of trialkylaluminium AlR, MAlR, MAlRand an aromatic hydrocarbon. According to the invention, a mixture of MOR and MOR is reacted with trialkylaluminium AlRat temperatures below 25° C. in an aromatic hydrocarbon. MAlR/MAlRis isolated from the obtained mixture and a ready-for-use electrolyte for the electrochemical deposition of aluminum-magnesium alloys is obtained by the addition of aromatic hydrocarbon.
