Abstract

The present invention provides two novelsynthetic promoters, Syn 1 and Syn 2. Syn 1 and Syn 2 are two tight regulated synthetic promoters that control uninduced, leaky expression of proteins that are toxic and interfere with production of recombinant protein from anexpression system.
