Abstract

Provided is an image display screen having wide horizontal and vertical viewing angles and a projection television including the same. The image display screen includes a Fresnel screen, a first lenticular screen that widens a horizontal viewing angle and a second lenticular screen including a first portion that widens a vertical viewing angle and a second portion that prevents degradation of contrast due to external light, and a protective screen. The second lenticular screen and the protective screen can be replaced by an integrated screen or a composite screen having the characteristics of both. In addition, a pattern may be formed on the rear surface of the Fresnel screen to perform the same function as the first portion.
