Abstract
A multilayer ceramic substrate which is obtained by firing multilayers of ceramic green sheets each having a dielectric layer, made of a glass-ceramic material comprising a mixture of alumina and a glass containing at least Si and Ca, and an electrode layer made of Ag and formed on the dielectric layer. The dielectric layer after firing includes anorthite (CaAlSiO) crystals having a grain size of up to 84 nm.
