Abstract
The engine control apparatus includes: the stop switch body; the stop switch knob; the lock plateinsertable to the stop switch knob; the transponderthat is provided at the lock plateside and that can transmit an ID code; and the control sectionfor receiving the ID code transmitted from the transponderto control the engine operation. The engine control apparatus includes such that, when the lock plateis disengaged from the stop switch knob, the stop switch bodyis activated to cause the engine to stop or to be in an idling state.
