Abstract
An LED lamp according to the present invention includes: a substratehaving a principal surface; at least one LED, which is supported on the principal surfaceof the substrate; a reflector, which has an opening that defines a reflective surfacesurrounding the side surface of the LEDand which is supported on the principal surfaceof the substrate; and an encapsulating resin layer, which covers the LEDand the reflectortogether. When a portion of the encapsulating resin layerthat covers the side surfacesof the reflectorhas a thickness Dw and another portion of the encapsulating resin layerthat covers the upper surfaceof the reflectorhas a thickness Dh, the LED lamp has a Dh/Dw ratio of 1.2 to 1.8.
