Abstract

A hand-guided power jigsaw () with a jigsaw blade () which can be detachably clamped between the free ends of two essentially parallel arms () preferably comprised of a U-shaped frame (), in particular comprised of a tube, and which can be driven, in particular in a reciprocating manner, by a motor () integrated into the jigsaw (), wherein a laterally protruding handle () with a switch button () of an on/off switch is disposed at the free end of one of the arms (), can be manufactured as lightweight, compact, and inexpensive because the lower arm () carries the motor () and transmission mechanism () for moving the saw blade () back and forth, particularly in a base housing (), wherein a motor shaft () with a crankshaft () is coupled parallel to the arm () and is coupled by means of a connecting rod () to an elastic support () in order to clamp the jigsaw blade () in place.
