Abstract
A heating unit heats a work pieceby heat conduction from a heat conducting plateon which light from a light sourceis irradiated, wherein the heat conducting platecomprises a holding memberhaving optical transparency, and a heat conducting layerwhich is provided on a surface of the holding member, and absorbs light emitted from a light sourceand is transmitted through the holding member, so as to generate heat. The heating unit has the heat conducting platein which deformation does not occur, and temperature thereof changes rapidly.
