Abstract
In association with a solenoidal coilbeing energized to unlock a shift lever, a first movable coreand a second movable coremagnetically stick together so as to rotationally move in unison from an original position in which the first movable coreengages with the second movable core. Because the first movable coreand the second movable corestick together before unlocking the shift lever, it is possible to avoid the first movable corefrom hitting the second movable coreso as to eliminate an operational noise which would otherwise be produced by hitting the first movable coreagainst the second movable core. A lock plateand a link plateare rotatably provided around a rotational centerin relative to the solenoidal coil. This prevents the lock plateand the link platefrom moving rotationally in unison with the solenoidal coil, thus enabling the lock plateand the link plateto a smooth and quick rotational movement.
