Abstract
In a method for operating a motor vehicle, a target region is determined which is disposed forward of the motor vehicle and an operating recommendation () is outputted to the driver in dependence upon the detection. An arrival probability (PCOL) of the motor vehicle at the target region can be determined and the operating recommendation () is outputted to the driver when the arrival probability (PCOL) reaches at least a limit value (PLIM) ().
