Abstract
A control circuitof a resonance type switching power source comprises a drive circuitfor supplying drive pulses to each gate terminal of first and second MOS-FETs; a PWM circuitfor causing drive circuitto produce drive pulses; an input voltage detectorfor detecting input voltage from DC power sourceand comparing the input voltage and input reference voltage V; and a frequency adjusterfor adjusting oscillation frequency of PWM circuitin response to output level from the input voltage detector. With adjustment in oscillation frequency of PWM circuitin response to input voltage Vfrom DC power source, control circuitcan modify on-off timing of first and second MOS-FETsto keep good resonating action and prevent off-resonance although DC power sourceproduces fluctuating input voltages.
