Abstract
A strainer wall () to screen off a suction space () and a suction duct () connected to it in an emergency cooling system of a nuclear power plant includes at least one strainer wall element () which has an inlet side () and an outflow side (), wherein the inlet side is essentially oriented perpendicular.
