Provided is a polymer compound having a polystyrene reduced number average molecular weight of 10-10, and comprising a repeating unit represented by the below formula (1-1) or (1-2),wherein Ring A, Ring B, Ring C, or Ring D each independently represent an aromatic ring, and X represents S or O. The compound is usable as a light-emitting material, a charge transporting material, etc.
