Abstract

A portable cleansing device () for cleaning small items, such as a pacifier (), with pressurized liquid. The invention consists of a container () with a lid () that is removably attached to the container for maintaining liquid-tight integrity. A vertical partition () within the container forms a fresh liquid reservoir () for storing fresh water and a waste liquid repository () for storing waste water. A cleaning chamber () is formed having an inner wall () that is spaced from the container to create a void () therebetween that incorporates a number of nozzle openings (). A liquid pump () is attached to the container and is in fluid communication with the void and with the fresh liquid reservoir. When the pump is manually energized, water is forced from the reservoir through the nozzles, thus spraying pressurized water onto the object positioned within the cleaning chamber, with the water accumulating and stored in the repository beneath the chamber.
