Abstract
An electrodeless discharge lamp has a magnetic core, an induction coil, and a fixation member. The fixation memberhas an elongation portionextending in a direction along an axial line of the magnetic core, a holding portionfor holding the magnetic corepositioned closer to the magnetic corethan the elongation portion, and hook portionsandto which a winding wireis hooked so as to be inflected. The hook portionsandpositioned away from a boundary between the holding portionand magnetic coretoward the elongation portionby a distance between once and twice of a diameter of the winding wire.
