Abstract
A handheld power tool, in particular a handheld right-angle grinder (), has an electric motor drive for a motor housing () that accommodates a tool and also has a handle (), which is retained on the motor housing () by means of a handle mounting device () located between them, which handle mounting device has a mount (), fastened to the motor housing (), and at least one vibration-damping element () that is in communication with the mount () and the handle (). The handle mounting device () has a mounting plate (), on which the handle () is fastened by means of a fixation device. The at least one vibration-damping element () is located between the mount () and the mounting plate () and is solidly joined to them to form a unitary component. Fastening members () engaging the mount () are provided, which fix the mount () to the motor housing () and are provided with securing elements () that are free-standing relative to the mounting plate () and that, if the vibration-damping element () is torn, firmly retain the mounting plate () along with the handle () mounted on it (FIG.).
