Abstract
A reinforcement binding machine and a reel used for the machine capable of solving such a problem that wire comes out of the flange of the reel whereby wire feeding is disabled, wherein a recessed part (A) is steppingly provided at the opening edge part of a cassette case (), the flange of the cassette case () on the opening part side is formed in a large flange () having a diameter fitted to the recessed part (A) of the reel (), an engaging claw () for preventing the reel from coming out of a reel mounting shaft () is formed on the inner peripheral surface of a hub hole () for inserting the reel mounting shaft () of the reel () therein, and the engaging claw () and the reel mounting shaft () are engaged with each other so that the reel () can be rotated intermittently.
