Cement compositions for use in subterranean formations are provided. An example of a cement composition is a cement composition comprising: water, a cementitious component consisting essentially of: hydrated lime, and silica; and a dispersant. Another example of a cement composition is a cement composition comprising: water, a cementitious component consisting essentially of: hydrated lime, and silica; and a set retarder.
