Abstract

A golf ball comprising a core (), intermediate layer (), and cover (), wherein the intermediate layer () is provided with a plurality of apertures through which the core () is exposed, wherein the outer surface of the intermediate layer () and the surface of the core () exposed through the apertures are on substantially the same spherical surface, and wherein the hardness of the intermediate layer () is greater than that of the core (). The golf ball achieves both a high ball resilience and a soft impact feel.
