Abstract

A tire () includes a carcass (). The carcass () has a first ply () and a pair of second plies () and (). The first ply () is wound around a bead core () and is folded back outward. This portion constitutes an overlapping portion (). The second plies () and () are inserted in the overlapping portion () and are extended along the first ply (). A height (h) of the overlapping portion () is set to be 50% or more of a height (H) of the first ply (). A minimum height (h) of the second plies () and () is set to be 8% or more of the height (H) of the first ply. A width (J) of a belt () is set to be 80% or more of a width (W) of the tire.
