Abstract
A phase displacement device () having a drive () with a drive shaft () and a transmission () for displacing the phase between a camshaft () and a crankshaft () is provided. The phase displacement device () has a sensor device () with which the rotational speed or the position of a component () of the phase displacement device () is measured. In this way, a higher resolution is achieved with respect to the position of the camshaft.
