Abstract

A gas sensor seal () comprising a body (), an upper portion having a flange (), and at least one channel (). The flange () has an extension () that extends from the upper portion, a bend () which extends from the extension () along the body (), and a protrusion () which extends from the bend () toward the body (). The channel () extends through the body () from the upper portion to a lower surface (). A method for using the gas sensor seal () within a sensor () is also provided.
