Abstract
The invention provides a pyridone azo compound represented by the following Formula (I) R, Rand Reach independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 21 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 2 to 21 carbon atoms, an aryl group having 6 to 21 carbon atoms, an aralkyl group having 7 to 21 carbon atoms, or a substituent having a hetero atom; at least one of R, Rand Rrepresents a substituent having a hetero atom; Rand Rmay be formed into a heterocycle together with a jointly bonded nitrogen atom; and Rrepresents an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, a methoxymethyl group, or a trifluoromethyl group. The invention further provides a colorant-containing curable composition and a color filter which contain the pyridone azo compound of Formula (I) and/or a tautomer thereof as a colorant.
