Abstract

The invention relates to a process for the catalytic decomposition of NO to Nand O. This process is carried out at a high temperature, generally of between 700 and 1000° C., at a high HSV and in the presence of a catalyst composed of a mixed oxide of zirconium and of cerium existing in the form of a solid solution.
