Abstract
An adjustable seat cushion thigh support systemfor the use of a seat and method for providing same. The seat has a cushion panthat is fixed in relation to a vehicle. A pair of side railsand a rear cross memberform the fixed cushion pan. The thigh support systemhas fixed anchor bracketsthat extend inwardly from side rails. Slider bracketsare adapted to move forwardly and rearwardly in relation to the anchor brackets. A cushion rampis supported by the slider bracketsso as to permit forward and rearward motion of the cushion rampwhen the slider bracketsmove in relation to the cushion pan. The cushion rampunderlies the seat cushion thigh support.
