Abstract

A dielectric ceramic material which is obtained by firing a raw material comprising an alumina powder and a glass powder containing at least SiOand MgO, the dielectric ceramic material being characterized in that a ratio (MgAlO(311)/AlO(116)) in X-ray diffraction peak intensity of an MgAlO(311) to an AlO(116) is at least 0.5.
