Abstract
An connector () for a flexible printed circuit (FPC) includes a stationary housing () defining a mounting face () for mounted on a printed circuit board (PCB) and having a tongue plate () substantially parallel to the mounting face and spaced from the mounting face; a movable housing () detachably assembled to the first housing with its bottom face () substantially on the mounting face of the first housing, and its upper face () opposite to the tongue plate to define a cavity therebetween for receiving the FPC (); and terminals () arranged on the tongue plate and projecting to the cavity to engage conductors on the FPC.
