Abstract
A postal sorting machine comprises an injection carousel () and a system () for injecting mail items () standing on edge into receptacles () of the carousel (). Each receptacle () of the carousel () is defined by an end wall () and two side walls (). A blower () is interposed between the injection system () and the carousel (). The blower () delivers two jets () of compressed air that are substantially perpendicular to each other, with each mail item () being displaced between the jets.
