Abstract

In external unit, three-way valveprovided downstream of CPRenables a switching connection between CPRand branch lineA of first bypass linewith respect to liquid lineA. In internal unit, second bypass lineconnects inlet side of receiverand inlet side of evaporator, and open/close valveis provided along second bypass line. At de-icing, three-way valveswitches to first bypass lineside and open/close valveopens. There upon, hot gas from compressorcirculates from first bypass lineto liquid lineA to enter evaporatorthrough second bypass linewhile squeezing out liquid refrigerant. Evaporatoris heated by manifest heat of introduced hot gas, and when the internal pressure of vaporatorrises to a condensation temperature over 0° C., de-icing is performed efficiently by manifest heat plus latent heat.
