Abstract
An ablation probe, comprises a distal substantially tubular electrode, a proximal substantially tubular electrode and a substantially tubular dielectric element. A proximal end of the dielectric element is bonded to a distal end of the proximal electrode and a distal end of the dielectric element is bonded to a proximal end of the distal electrode. The dielectric element is formed of a composite material including a fiber braid within a polymeric material.
