Abstract
In an IC mounting regionof a substrateconstituting a liquid crystal device, first terminalsA,B, andC are divided into a plurality of terminalsA,A,A,A,B,B,C, andC by slitsformed of portions where an ITO film forming wiring patternsand the first terminalsis not formed. For this reason, when the first terminalsand first electrodesare electrically and mechanically connected by an anisotropic conductive film, a resin component contained in the anisotropic conductive film fixedly bonds a driving ICto the second transparent substratewhile it enters the slits. Since the area of the resin componentof the anisotropic conductive film in contact with the first terminalsis large, fixing strength of the ICis increased.
