Abstract

The present invention provides a composition for preventing or treating diseases accompanied by a decrease in bone weight, hypertension and diseases resulting from hypertension, the composition containing, as an active component, at least one member selected from the a compound represented by formula (I) wherein A and B are the same or different and are independently selected from the group consisting of halogen, amino, amidino, anilinoamide, mercapto, sulfonic acid, phosphate, carboxy, hydroxy C–Calkyl, sugar residue, —OR, and —OCOR; wherein Ris selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, C–Calkyl, hydroxy C–Calkyl, and C–Calkenyl; and Ris selected from the group consisting of C–Calkyl, hydroxy C–Calkyl, and C–Calkenyl; n is number of substituents A present and is a number from 0 to 5; and m is number of substituents B present and is a number from 0 to 5.
