Abstract

Documents are read and the read image data and the information about the size of the document is stored in a memory. A factor of enlargement/reduction is calculated based on the stored size information. An image processorinterpolates the image data based on the calculated enlargement/reduction factor and reproduces the enlarged/reduced document.
